Melvin and Juanita Flegler will celebrate their 50th anniversary with an open house at 4 p.m. On Sept. 11 at the Russell VFW, 248 N. Memorial Drive. Friends and family are invited to attend. Hosts for the event will be their children, Kim Stoppel and Kevin Flegler, both of Russell, and Kristen Pfeifer of Hays.
