GBHS boys sweep Garden City

The Great Bend High School boys’ bowling team swept Garden City on Thursday afternoon at Walnut Bowl, winning all seven points available in the Western Athletic Conference.
The Lady Panthers beat Garden City 4-3.
The Panthers are now 25-10 and in first place in the WAC standings, putting them six points ahead of second-place Dodge City (19-16).
Liberal (16-19) is in third place in the standings and Garden City (10-25) is in fourth.
Dakota Conaway led the boys team with a top series of 659. His top game was 225.
