ST. JOHN — The St. John High School girls’ basketball team held a 30-15 lead at halftime.
Victoria never made up ground on Friday night as St. John won 60-27.
“I thought we played pretty well,” St. John head coach Danny Smith said. “We shot 50 percent on the night. We ran the floor well. We defended well. We fouled too much, but we scored 40 points in the paint, so you’re going to shoot well when you’re taking those kind of shots.”
