Leo Rocha 1927-2012

GREAT BEND — Leo Rocha, 84, died Feb. 18, 2012 at his home in Great Bend.
He was born June 28, 1927 at Ellinwood, the son of Antonio and Margarita (Sanchez) Rocha.
He married Elli A. Ufer Sept. 27, 1947 at Frankfort, Germany. She died April 18, 1990.
He was manager of Concrete Service from 1957 to 1976. Mr. Rocha was a Great Bend resident most of his life. He was a United States Army veteran, serving during World War II. He was a member of Prince of Peace Parish at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 3111; and American Legion Argonne Post 180, all of Great Bend.
Survivors include a son, Donald Rocha and his wife Kim, Great Bend; two daughters, Elke Andrasek, Great Bend; Pamela Campbell and her husband Bill, Great Bend; three brothers, Joe Rocha, Great Bend; Rufus Rocha, Great Bend; Tony Rocha and his wife Peggy, Great Bend; three sisters, Mary Ellen Shaw, Milwaukee, Wis.; Rose Mary Delgado and her husband Manuel, Hutchinson; Patty Rincon and her husband Larry, Hutchinson; 13 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael Leo Rocha; four brothers, Peter Rocha, Frank Rocha, Vernon Rocha, and Jessie Rocha; and one sister, Rita Rocha.
Vigil Service is scheduled at 7 p.m. Monday, Feb. 20 at the Bryant Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Burial is scheduled at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21 at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church in Great Bend with Father Reginald A. Urban officiating. Interment will be at the Great Bend Cemetery with military rites provided by the Fort Riley Honor Guard
Visitation is scheduled from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday at Bryant Funeral Home.
Memorials are suggested to the Ronald McDonald House or Golden Belt Home Health and Hospice, in care of Bryant Funeral Home.
