Ceremony scheduled

LARNED — Retiring Pawnee County Extension agent Rodney Wallace will be greeted in a come-and-go retirement reception from 5 to 7  p.m. Thursday in the Pawnee County Courthouse lounge.

Cookies to be sold Saturday

LARNED — Girl Scouts from Troop 78 will sell Girl Scout cookies at Dillons in Larned from 4:30 to 7 p.m. Saturday. The troop is raising money to attend the Rock the Mall event at the National Mall in Washington, D.C.

‘Tribute to Elvis’ set for
Saturday

LARNED — Prairie Arts Unlimited, Inc. will sponsor a Tribute to Elvis, starring Schoenchen native Frank Werth. The dinner theater will be held on Saturday at the Knights of Columbus Hall on Scenic Drive in Larned. Social Hour begins at 6 p.m., and dinner will start at 6:30 p.m. Reservations are required. Tickets may be purchased by calling (620) 285-2622.

‘Prom Night’
 LARNED — Scraps’ annual Prom Night will be held from 3:30 until 9 p.m. Wednesday, March 7 at Scraps, 612 Broadway in Larned.
Formals for the prom dress swap are also being accepted for a $5 donation that goes to the school of your choice. $5 from each tuxedo rental will also be given to the After Prom committees at the school of your choice. For more information, call Scraps (620) 285-8977.
