BCC baseball team beats Hutch in extra innings

HUTCHINSON — The No. 16-ranked Barton Community College baseball team clawed back to win 9-8 in 10 innings over Hutchinson on Friday on the road.
However, BCC fell in the doubleheader on Saturday 12-4 and 8-2.
The Cougars scored seven unanswered and received solid relief pitching to capture Game 1 of the Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference season opener for both teams. 
With the win, Barton improves to 13-1 on the season while Hutchinson drops to 4-4.
