Council approves site for circus

HOISINGTON — At its regular meeting on Monday night, the Hoisington City Council approved renting a city site to a family circus in May.
The circus will set up a site near the baseball diamonds and pay $300 for rent.
In other business, the city approved selling the donut table from the old donut shop, which the city now owns. City Manager Jonathan Mitchell said that he has seen the tables for bid on the Internet for $1500-$2200. The council agreed to accept sealed bids until the end of the week.
