USD 428 is celebrating the recognition of two new Kansas Teacher of the Year nominees. Laurie Harwood, Eisenhower fourth-grade teacher, and Kim Heath, Great Bend High School English teacher, have been selected by a committee of their peers to represent the district at the state level. “Laurie is a dedicated and highly professional teacher,” said Tricia Reiser, Eisenhower School principal. “Students enjoy being in her classroom.
