PERRYTON, Texas — Charles “Gail” Hurter, 77, died March 29, 2012 at Hays Medical Center. Born Dec. 31, 1934 in Ochiltree County, Texas, he was the son of Bernard and Katie (Morris) Hurter. He graduated from Texas Tech University with his bachelor’s degree and went on to earn his Master’s Degree in business and counseling from Fort Hays State University.
