​Spring flowers are program topic


The Great Bend Recreation Commission will host a free Stop ‘N Learn Session titled “Spring Flowers” at noon Wednesday at the Great Bend Activity Center, 2715 18th St. Presenter Jerry Esfeld  will talk about the wide variety of perennials and annuals available to plant in flower gardens this year. She will also cover such topics as selecting the perfect flowers, fertilizing, mulching and care. There will also be plenty of time for questions about flowers, said Garet Fitzpatrick, GBRC program coordinator.
