AMARILLO, Texas — Odessa Mills, 93, died Oct. 20 at Ellinwood District Hospital, Ellinwood. She was born Sept. 16, 1917, at Lockney, Texas, the daughter of Richard Warren and Girlie Hewett Thomas. She married Vernon Mills on Dec. 23, 1951, at Boise City, Okla. He died Aug. 15, 1988. She was an Ellinwood resident since 2006, formerly of Amarillo and Lubbock, Texas, and Pueblo and Denver, Colo.
