GBHS finishes in third place

SALINA — The Great Bend High School girls’ swim team placed third at the Salina Invitational on Friday.
The Lady Panthers finished with 295 points behind Salina South (421) and Garden City (303).
Great Bend had two Class 5-1A state-qualifying times in the meet.
Allison Damm, Kylee Spray, Brenna Haines and Hannah Hildebrand combined for a time of 4:16.20 in the 400-yard freestyle relay. They finished in fourth place.
Hildbrand qualified for state in the 100 butterfly, taking second place with a time of 1:06.34.
