BROOMFIELD, Colo. — Wilbur A. Fischer died in Broomfield, Colo. April 10, 2012 at the Stratford Senior Living Community where he lived close to his family for the past two years. He was born on the family farm in Stafford County April 13, 1924. He became a teacher and principal in rural Kansas at the age of 19. He continued his career as an educator in Kansas and the St. Vrain Valley School District ...
