HUTCHINSON — The Great Bend High School girls’ swim team had two first-place finishes at the meet on Thursday.
The Lady Panthers finished in second place with 316 points. Garden City claimed first place with 337.
“I think they did really good tonight,” GBHS head coach Stephanie Maier said. “We had faster times than usual in a lot of different events. Maddie (Vesta) took off five seconds in her 100 fly. We just don’t have the sprinters to win the meet.”
