Great Bend takes home fourth in both divisions at Buhler invite

BUHLER — As it turned out, Great Bend High School took home fourth-place finishes on Friday at the Buhler Invitational track and field meet.
Salina Central (87 points) edged Hays (80) for first place inthe girls division, and Hays (221) ran away with the boys division as second-place Buhler finished with 100 1/2 points.
Great Bend’s girls had two athletes take home first place in Selam Ball winning the pole vault, clearing nine feet, six inches, and Jacy Quade winning the discus (131-6).
