Dear Editor, The 61st annual observance for the National Day of Prayer is quickly approaching and we are encouraging all to take part in this important event to be held on the first Thursday of May. The National Day is a significant occasion on which millions of Americans will lay aside cultural, racial, and denominational differences and join hearts in acknowledging God.
