HOISINGTON — Lillian R. Funk, 88, died April 25 at Great Bend Health and Rehabilitation Center. Born Sept. 29, 1923, in Russell County, she was the daughter of J. Peter and Margaret (Deines) Boxberger. On Nov. 22, 1942, she married Raymond Funk in Milberger. He died on Sept. 12, 2000. A lifetime Russell and Barton County resident, she was a cook at Homestead Villa and then for Clara Barton Hospital, both in Hoisington, until her ...
