GREAT BEND — Bertha Kuhn, 90, died April 29, 2012 at Southwind Hospice in Pratt. Born Dec. 24, 1921 on a farm near Catharine, she was the daughter of Alois L. and Bertha (Grabbe) Leikam. She was a 1940 graduate of Girls’ Catholic High School in Hays. On Oct. 6, 1941 she married William “Bill” Kuhn at St. Mary Catholic Church in Ellis. He died on Sept. 20, 1992.
