Pawnee Heights students place in league contest


ROZEL — The Pawnee Heights School fourth through eighth graders competed in the Southern Plains Activities Association-Iroquois Activities Association League math contest recently in Greensburg.
Placing first were Pawnee Heights fourth-graders Lane Pywell in Mental Math and Harrison Van Meter in Geometry.
Here are the complete results:
Fourth Grade
Lane Pywell—1st Mental Math; 2nd in  Geometry ; 6th in Problem Solving
Jacelyn Salmans—2nd in Problem Solving, 3rd in Geometry
Harrison Van Meter—1st  in Geometry; 3rd in Mental Math; 3rd in Problem Solving
Fifth Grade
Andrew Bright—4th in Mental Math
Dalton Hamby—3rd in Mental Math
