Superheroes ready to battle hunger

This superhero costume is part of a display that will be placed at the Village Cinema for the duration of “The Avengers” movie. People will be able to donate items for the food bank at the theater.

 Members of the Thr3Elements youth group at CrossPoint Church will don their favorite superhero costumes this weekend to help battle hunger. The youth, in grades 7-12, are inviting community members to become heros as well by donating items to the Barton County Community Food Bank, Youth Pastor Randy Mills said.
