LARNED — Appellate Court cases are scheduled for oral argument and hearing before the Kansas Court of Appeals at the Pawnee County Courthouse, Larned, for Tuesday, May 15 and Wednesday, May 16.
The Court of Appeals will be represented by a three-judge panel consisting of presiding judge Michael J. Buser, judge Gordon Atcheson, and senior judge David Knudson. The 24th Judicial District serves Edwards, Hodgeman, Lane, Ness, Pawnee and Rush counties. Bruce T. Gatterman serves as chief judge for the 24th Judical District.
Nine cases, consisting of both criminal and civil appeals, are scheduled for oral argument over the two-day period. The court has placed 18 additional cases on the summary calendar, which are deemed submitted on May 16, without oral argument. These hearings are open to the public.
