ELLINWOOD — Imogene M. Sanko, 80, died May 29 at Country Place Senior Living in Ellinwood. Born Jan. 19, 1932 in Meade, she was the daughter of James Hayden and Hilda Cordes Hayden. On Oct. 8, 1951 she married Wilbert V. Sanko at the Cathedral in Dodge City. A resident of Ellinwood for 58 years, she was a farm wife, bus driver for USD 355 assistant to a veterinarian and a telephone operator.
