Great Bend Fire Department A Barton County resident who disobeyed the current ban on burning had a trash fire that got out of hand Tuesday afternoon. Great Bend Fire Department was dispatched to 72 NE 20 Road at 7:52 p.m. The fire had started with the neighbors at 208 NE Baker St. burning trash. A citation was issued.
