​Sign Language course offered at BCC

Barton Community College is offering an American Sign Language course from 1-5 p.m.  Monday through Thursday, July 9-12 in room S-151 of the Science and Math Building.
American Sign Language uses hand motions, facial expressions and body language to convey meaning. Students will learn many portions of the language including the alphabet, numbers and other commonly used words and phrases.
There will be limited enrollment for this course. Students will earn one credit-hour. Registration deadline is July 2.  For more information on the course contact Janet Kirmer at or (620) 792-9294.
