OSAWATOMIE — Donald D. Smith, 85, died Oct. 29 at Olathe Medical Center, Olathe. He was born Sept. 16, 1925, at Hoisington, the son of Clarence and Callie (Payne) Smith. He married Etta Imogene Lumley on June 5, 1953, at Bartlesville, Okla. She died Oct. 9, 2004. He was a retired heavy equipment operator for Kansas Brick and Tile of Hoisington. He was a former Hoisington resident, moving to Osawatomie in 2004. ...
