GREAT BEND — Clarence R. Chestnut, 87, died June 30, 2012 at Great Bend Regional Hospital. He was born Sept. 7, 1924 at Billings, Okla., the son of James Thomas and Mabel Cora (Lucas) Chestnut. He married Leona Androes July 6, 1948 at Great Bend. Mr. Chestnut was a Great Bend resident since 1947 coming from Stafford and St. John. He served during World War II as a Private First Class in the Army. ...
