Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made six ambulance runs Wednesday, four Thursday, four Friday, 10 Saturday, four Sunday and six Monday. On Wednesday there was a fire on the river and a stubble field fire east of Fort Zarah at 10:30 p.m. At 1:17 a.m. Thursday there was a fire in a trash bin at 1701 Main. At 5:46 a.m. there was a gas leak at 615 Odell St. and at 7:27 p.m. firefighters responded ...
