GREAT BEND — Adell Johnson, 100, died July 17, 2012 at her home in Great Bend. Born Jan. 17, 1912 in Coweta, Okla., she was the daughter of Henry and Savanna (Pearson) Scroggins. On June 18, 1941, she married William Leslie Johnson in Great Bend. He died on June 2, 1978. A resident of Great Bend since 1939, coming from Coweta, Okla., she was a housekeeper and cook for Drs. Marion F. Russell Sr., and ...
