Dear Editor, In Kansas, all Judges are governed by the Code of Judicial Conduct, which consists of the following four Canons, enforced by our Supreme Court: CANON I: A Judge shall uphold and promote the independence, integrity, and impartiality of the judiciary, and shall avoid impropriety and the appearance of impropriety.
