BURDETT — Cecil Allen Coddington, 91, died Nov. 2 at his home in Emporia. Born May 22, 1919, in Cherokee, Okla., he was the son of Royal Earl and Gladys Rose Monroe Coddington. A lifetime resident of Alexander and Burdett, moving to Emporia in 2005, he was a retired farmer and self–employed electrician. On Aug. 3, 1942, he married Floy Louise Huddleston at Great Bend. She died on July 31, 2006.
