Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made three ambulance runs Thursday, 10 Friday, six Saturday and six Sunday. At 11:55 p.m. Friday they were dispatched to Third and Pine for a box of fireworks burning in the middle of the intersection. The Great Bend Police Department received numerous fireworks complaints over the weekend.
