HAYS — Lawrence “Larry” Frenzl, 84, died Aug. 8 at his home. Born May 10, 1928, in Odin, he was the son of Hugo and Matilda (Hoffner) Frenzl. On Aug. 29, 1952, he married Edna Kolste in Bentonville, Ark. He attended Odin Catholic School and worked as a superintendant with Reece Construction Co. in Scandia from 1949 through 1984, with two years leave to serve in the U.S. Army from 1950-1952.
