GREAT BEND — Lawrence “Larry“ Joseph Drescher, 93, of Great Bend, passed away Aug. 9, 2012. He was born Oct. 24, 1918, the son of John and Theresa (Muffinbier) Drescher in Monitor, Ore. Larry was a pilot in the Army Air Corp during World War II, and a proud veteran. He married Sara Santee on Aug. 19, 1943 in Oklahoma City, Okla.
