	WELCOMING ATMOSPHERE Mentors show freshmen the ropes at GBHS


	Small groups of GBHS freshmen students met their upperclass mentors who answered questions about what to do and where to go Wednesday morning. Mentors wore red Panthers shirts and led their groups through various stations and shared lunch with them on the first day of school. View Larger View » < >

Freshmen had exclusive access to Great Bend High School Wednesday for orientation and the first day of school. Instead of fear reigning the halls, mentors were on hand to make sure their transition into high school went smoothly.
