Dear Editor, The Great Bend High School Panther versus Hoisington High School Cardinal football game was exciting, entertaining, competitive, and well played. This Barton County matchup is healthy for everyone involved. The schools, administrations, players and especially the fans benefited from this game. Obviously it was well attended by both Great Bend and Hoisington fans. The Barton County matchup played prior to the huge Hoisington Labor Day annual festivities is perfect tiiming.
