Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made two ambulance runs Friday, two Saturday and six Sunday. At 12:16 p.m. Sunday they responded to a large brush fire that got into a tree on the north side of the diversion dam at 465 60 Ave. The Pawnee Rock and Albert fire departments were called to assist.
