James ‘Outlaw’ Crosby 1940 - 2012

LARNED — James “Outlaw” Crosby, 72, died Sept. 11, 2012 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita.
Born Feb. 7, 1940 in Plainville, he was the son of Wallace and Eva M. Bador Crosby.
A longtime resident of Larned, he was a retired Commercial Truck Driver.  He was outgoing and outspoken person who loved his family and friends
Mr. Crosby was a United States Navy Veteran.
Survivors include three daughters, LeVetta Griffin of Wichita, Jamie Crosby and Dovey Crosby, both of Newton; two brothers, Robert Crosby, Gatesville, Texas; and Gary Crosby, Medicine Lodge; two sisters, Jane Ida Smart and Judy Kay Angell, both of Medicine Lodge; six grandchildren, Amber Griffin, William, Shellwrista and Goldie Thorne, Felicia and Jenifer Goatley.
He was preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Marie Crosby and Crystal Shearer.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday at Morell Funeral Home with Pastor Dan Lundgren presiding.  Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. until service time Friday, all at the funeral home.
