Quarterback Hanzlick scores five TDs in Cardinals’ first win

BEL AIRE — Getting ahead early proved successful for the Hoisington High School football team on Friday night.
The Cardinals beat Sunrise Christian Academy 49-32 for their first win of the season.
Quarterback Hagan Hanzlick rushed for four touchdowns and threw for another for the Cardinals. He finished with a team-leading 205 rushing yards, averaging 10.25 yards per carry.
Tailback Chance Demel also broke the century mark, rushing for 108 yards and two TDs.
Avery Urban was on the receiving end of the touchdown throw from Hanzlick for 18 yards.
Hoisington (1-2) hosts Ellinwood for a Mid-Central Activities Association matchup ...
