BURLINGTON, Iowa — LaDonna Maxine Denney, 79, died June 23, 2012 at her home in Burlington, Iowa with her son and daughter-in-law at her side. She was born Jan. 25, 1933 at Kiowa, the daughter of Laurence G. and Bertha Pearl (Downtain) Thomas She married Donald Dean Denney, Sr. May 23, 1952 at Great Bend. He died Aug. 14, 2000. She was a cook for Great Bend USD 428, retiring after 35 years of service. ...
