Lady Cougars topple Cloud County in five games

Winning in five-set fashion for the second time in three days, the Barton Community College volleyball team toppled Cloud County on Wednesday night. 

The Lady Cougars (5-8 overall, 4-1 Kansas Jayhawk Community College Conference Western Division) dominated the first set 25-10, but the Thunderbirds captured the second, 26-24.

Leading throughout the third game, the Lady Cougars finished 25-13, only to have Cloud respond with a 25-16 thumping to force the deciding game.  

Barton won 20-18 to close out the match.

The Lady Cougars travel to Hutchinson on Friday and Saturday for the Lady Dragon Invitational.
