JoAnn (Frank) Herrman, 84, died on Sept. 24 at Woodhaven Care Center in Ellinwood. Born Dec. 17, 1927 in Olpe, she was the daughter of Roy Emmitt Langley and Jennie Lee Mayes. In 1945 she graduated from Emporia High School. In 1950, she married Duane Frank. He died in 1972. She then married Julius Peter Herrman in 1983. He died in 1999.
