LORRAINE — Charlie “Choc” Perkins, 81, died Sept. 29 at his home. Born Sept. 4, 1931 in Ringling, Okla., he was the son of Hosey and Eddie (Underwood) Perkins. A resident of the Lorraine area since 1945, he was a retired lead man for Ref-Chem in Bushton and a farmer and horseman. On Oct. 15, 1953, he married Elda Janzen in Lorraine. She survives.
