LARNED — Rev. John “Johnny” W. Augmon, 68, died Oct. 5 at Wesley Medical Center in Wichita. Born Dec. 5, 1943 in Great Bend, he was the son of Claude and Hazel Irene Shepherd Augmon. A lifetime resident of Larned, he served as a pastor at ESCUE Chapel in Larned, St. John CME in Hutchinson, Wesley Chapel CME in Coffeyville and most recently at St. Matthews CME in Wichita.
