John and Julie Hein will celebrate their 40th anniversary on Oct. 15. The couple was married on Oct. 15, 1972, at the Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Hoisington. John is retired from Dillon’s after 36 years and Julie is retired from Landmark National Bank after 27 years. The couple has a daughter and son-in-law, Joelle and Jay Jacobs; and two grandchildren, Jensen and Jozie. They will celebrate the occasion with a family dinner in November.
