	Leona M. Leiker 1924 - 2012

LACROSSE — Leona M. Leiker, 88, died Oct. 14 at Locust Grove Village in La Crosse. Born May 20, 1924, in Pfeifer, she was the daughter of Casper and Mary (Schmidt) Jacobs. She was a lifelong resident of Rush County. A 1942 graduate of Bison High School, she was a clerk for the United States Postal Service before her retirement in 1979. On Feb. 6, 1945, she married Ralph J. Leiker at St. Michael’s Catholic Church in La Crosse. He preceded her in death on Aug. 19, 2005.
