The Great Bend Recreation Commission has a few openings left for its American Red Cross Baby Sitters Training for Monday, Oct. 22. The class runs from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Great Bend Recreation Center, 1214 Stone St. This Red Cross course is designed to give participants the knowledge, skills and confidence to care for infants through school-aged children.
