Great Bend Fire Department Firefighters made four ambulance runs Friday, 12 Saturday and six Sunday. At 8:19 p.m. Friday they were dispatched to 1815 Eighth St. for a garage fire. They arrived to find heavy smoke coming from the eaves and overhead door of a detached double garage. Chief Mike Napolitano said the fire was extinguished.
