Kansas Highway Patrol A Ford pickup driven by Christopher Cherry, 19, of Manhattan was westbound on U.S. 50 in Reno County at 9:55 p.m. Saturday and struck a hay bale in the roadway. The accident occurred about a quarter of a mile west of Scott Boulevard in South Hutchinson. Cherry and his passenger, Martesia Tyus, 17, of St. John, both sustained possible injury and were taken to a Hutchinson hospital. Both were wearing seat belts. ...
