	There’s still time for parents and mentors to take youth pheasant hunting during the special youth-only season this weekend. Until sunset, youth can take half the regular bag-limit for both pheasant and quail. The regular season kicks off next Saturday, Nov. 10 at sunrise. View Larger

From sunrise to sunset, Saturday and Sunday, youth hunters have their shot at bagging pheasants or quail before adult hunters take to the fields Nov. 10. It’s the annual Kansas youth pheasant and quail hunting season, Nov. 3 and 4, for youth age 16 and under.
