SMITH CENTER — Dr. Robert Glenn Sheppard, 91, passed away Nov. 24, 2012 at the Smith County Long Term Care. He was born Nov. 6, 1921 in Tulsa, Okla., the son of Charles and Bessie (Saul) Sheppard. He was a general surgeon. Survivors include his wife Eda, Smith Center; a daughter, Debra Evangelidis, Smith Center; sons, Robert Michael, Great Bend; and David Dean, Hillsboro; a sister, Maxie Bowman, Lawrence; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
